On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.

Thank you, I wasn't aware that the DNS TXT records for _acme-challenge only have a limited validity. Makes sense. We will then switch to issuing SSL-certificates for the separate subdomains instead of with a wildcard certificate.
Would indeed be great if the Plesk documentation can be updated...
Hi Igor,
Thanks for forwarding the issue to the developers.
However, the following is the case:
Issuing a wildcard certificate is possible without the DNS service in Plesk (Plesk will instruct which DNS records need to be set)
Renewing (auto-updating) a wildcard certificate is not possible...

Same issue here. Also seeing the AH00052 segmentation errors in httpd.
A reboot of the server fixed the issue for me (not sure if this is a permanent fix, closely monitoring now).
According to the update log on my server, the following packages were updated overnight:

Plesk has a support article for this now: Domains on Plesk PHP 7.3 are down: Service Unavailable
Apparently this is a bug in PHP itself that needs to be fixed. Workaround is to switch back to PHP 7.2 for the time being.
Had the same problem, this solution worked for me! Thanks Igor! Don't forget to run the DailyMaintenance script so that Plesk can update its cacert.pem ;)
@AdamB That PowerShell script did the trick. Thanks a lot. :)
For now, I'll just run the PowerShell script manually once a month, so that I stay aware of this quick & dirty workaround.
Let's hope Plesk can create a permanent fix for this soon. Thanks again for sharing this!
I'm having the exact same issue, also on Server 2012 R2. However, the only slight difference is that both the scheduled task and the Let's Encrypt renew button indicate "Task ... completed", but in fact nothing happened.
The only solution for me is, just like @AdamB, to go to the domain >...
Yep, forgot to mention that. My apologies.
I'm running Windows Server 2012 R2, Plesk 12.5.30 Update #24.
Plesk displays that an error occurred during the installation of the extension, but also mentions that the extension was successfully installed (see screenshot below).
When I try to run...
@trialotto
Thanks for your reply. I was aware of that and had an alternative running, but Plesk didn't show those certificates because they were not created using Plesk. That also means that they won't get included into backups, which makes it harder to set up SSL when a restoration is needed...
