  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Accidentally upgraded to MariaDB 10.4

I'm looking for a manual way to do it. So far my idea is to dump the databases then force install 10.3, then refresh the DBs. I don't know if it'll work though.

Question Accidentally upgraded to MariaDB 10.4

Hello. I'm using Plesk Obsidian on Debian 9. I accidentally upgraded to MariaDB 10.4, so my databases got upgraded/etc. Can anyone help me to correct this (downgrade to 10.3) while preserving my databases? Most things are working fine, only thing I noticed is backups are not correctly backing up...

    Resolved Custom error document - 414 - doesn't work

Thanks a lot. I will just wait for a fix since it's a rare occurence.

Question Web stats disabled by still saving non-anonymized data

OK, after a few days these webstats are working fine. One other question though: Are mail logs supposed to be anonymized? Or is there a switch to turn on mail log anonymizing? So far my mail logs are not being anonymized (although I am the only person with email on the server, so I don't feel...

    Resolved Custom error document - 414 - doesn't work

Hello. I haven't edited any config files directly, I just ticked the checkbox under Hosting Settings (if you can tell me which config file I can check it.) I've tested a few other error codes and they work as expected. I'm not sure how to trigger all of them, but the only one that I tested that...

Question Web stats disabled by still saving non-anonymized data

The webstat files are what I'm more interested in here. Everything else gets anonymized nightly. I've found two log directories: /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain>/logs /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/logs Not sure why there are two as they seem similar (I only have 1 domain and 1 domain forwarding to...

    Resolved Custom error document - 414 - doesn't work

I've set up custom error documents, and am testing a few. They mostly work but for 414 - Request URI too long uses the default Apache document. I've tested this by going to <mydomain>/<1 million letters> using Chrome (some other browsers don't allow that many characters.)

Question Web stats disabled by still saving non-anonymized data

Hello. I have enabled IP anonymizing and uninstalled awstats/webalizer. I am still seeing non-anonymized IP under /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/logs/access_ssl_log.webstat. Since webstats are disabled/not installed, I wonder why this data is being saved here and how to turn it off? The other logs...

    Resolved DS Records (DNSSEC)

My registrar doesn't have a way to set DS records in the parent zone - but I emailed them about it and they did it manually. Now everything works.

    Resolved DS Records (DNSSEC)

I’ve done most of that yes. The last step, “Updating the DS Records in the Parent Zone” is where I’m lost. What exactly is the parent zone if my domain is example.ca? My DNS records are managed by Plesk. My registrar allows setting the same records but won’t that override my Plesk settings...

    Resolved DS Records (DNSSEC)

I'm confused about where I'm supposed to add the DS records for DNSSEC. I added them in plesk under DNS settings, but the DNSSEC analyser at DNSSEC Analyzer still says they don't exist (I waited a week.) I have removed them now but I'm not sure where to put them. Thanks.

    Resolved Update webstats more frequently

I've found that webstats are updated through the 50plesk-daily cronjob, but is there a way to update them hourly instead? My server is plenty powerful enough. Or is there a way to manually update them?
