If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
Thanks for the advice about the logs and firewall. The firewall was part of the issue: FTPS requires that a range of ports be open for the data channel, and this range can be specified in the proftpd.conf file. Another part of the issue was the connection settings in the FTP client (for...
OS: CentOS 6.6
Plesk: 11.5.30 #48
ProFTPd: 1.3.4c
Hi,
I am unable to connect over TLS/SSL using my FTP client. I have ports 989 & 990 enabled in my server's firewall. My FTP client is attempting connection on port 990, but times out waiting for the server to respond. I also tried adding...
All back to normal now for me. After reinstalling proftpd via Plesk, FTP is working again. I also had to reinstall Horde (dunno why it got removed), and then disable it in the Tools & Settings > Webmail Services, and then re-enable. Horde is also now working again.
Thanks. Good point. The tech support of my server provider apparently used yum to install proftpd, which by the way I think was already installed. In the process, it appears that CentOS was upgraded to 6.6. Please verify for me that Plesk 11.5.30 (#48) will work with CentOS 6.6, or if I need...
I am having this same problem and the KB article does not help – the section, "componentsPackages" is already in the database.
These problems started happening when ProFTPd was upgraded (or reinstalled) and the CentOS version was upgraded from 6.5 to 6.6.
Please help - very frustrating...
OK. It would be helpful if you had a designation for the KB articles, or another system, such that one could subscribe only to the bug/fix type articles. And then have the titles of the bug/fix type articles more descriptive so that people can easily identify what subsystems are affected. As...
Thanks, Igor. One question - does Parallels offer a way for hosting and server providers to keep abreast of what problems you have found in Plesk (of more serious nature) and their workarounds? Something like a known bugs announcements email list or RSS feed?
Also, you may wish to edit the KB...
Re: http://kb.parallels.com/en/115472
This bug has been going on, from what I can tell, for about 18 months, and still exists in the current version of Plesk.
This is a serious problem and likely affects the reliability of delivery to Mailman list subscribers.
Why has this not been...
Also worked for me, thanks!
If the MTA's call to spamc didn't already have the size argument "-s" then the spamc config file would work – /etc/mail/spamassassin/spamc.conf.
I couldn't find qmail's call to spamc (Plesk/CentOS).

I found instructions to upgrade only PHP here: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/PHP_5.1_To_5.2
This will upgrade to PHP version 5.2.10. Will this work okay with Plesk 9.5.2?
What kind of problems may I expect?
thanks,
JC
OK, maybe PHP 5.2.0 is not a good idea...
can someone tell me what version of PHP 5.2.x I can safely
upgrade to for Plesk 9.5.2, and where I may find
notes regarding possible problems?
thanks,
JC
