dnn 5 There has since been a more recent update to the application pack and now it installs fine.

Has anyone had a problem with installing dnn 5? All I get after the install is that the site is currently unavailable, please check back later. Web searches indicate it may have something to do with the connection strings, but they both look ok. Thanks

I believe it just doesn't work. You have to manually download and install the updates. Why it has gone on this long for this many versions I have no idea.

it worked for me by going into the operating system's firewall (for me it was fedora 8 in the admin section I believe) and I added tcp port 11444 as open.

Was the option to reboot server taken out of v9 or am I just missing something?

The plesk updater never displays updates that are available; I always have to go through the patches page on the plesk site. How can I get them to show? Thanks

I recently set up a fresh install of 8.1 and upon rebooting the system and logging onto plesk, I get a screen asking for a 'selection of default components'. These options are all greyed out for DNS server, mail server and component_name_ws. what is going on? thanks in advance.
