  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Plesk scheduled backups disappear on a renamed subscription

Hello, this is quite a weird one and not easy to describe. I run daily plesk full backups on each of my subscriptions (at different times in order not to create resource usage peaks) and they all run fine except for one. Maybe that has nothing to do but that particular subscription was renamed...

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Hi UFHH01 and Brujo, I appreciate a lot your generous help, but I am not sure how this was resolved, and I admit I remain rather confused about all this. I would like to clarify that the OVH issue is not really one, the domain is registered there, but the VPS runs on another hosting provider...

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Oh no, bad news :( The OVH stuff is a migration heritage, I have a new VPS on 1&1 for almost 2 years. When I ported the subscriptions I did not think it affected postfix. But where do you see that in the files I provided? I see no OVH mentioned. Anyway, how to update it? Here's my versions...

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Very similar to what posted already (from maillog): Oct 18 18:33:20 vps journal: plesk sendmail[10601]: handlers_stderr: PASS Oct 18 18:33:20 vps journal: plesk sendmail[10601]: PASS during call 'limit-out' handler Oct 18 18:33:20 vps check-quota[10603]: cannot get sender domain Oct 18 18:33:20...

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Hi, thanks, I have added the system users and emails go through with the quota activated. However, the check-quota messages continue to be logged. My plesk is up to date, according to the results of the 'plesk installer update' command.

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Thanks UFHH01, I updated the file as per suggestion (have only one IP#) and restarted postfix, but then I had this: vps journal: plesk sendmail[5044]: REJECT during call 'limit-out' handler vps py_limit_out[5066]: ERROR Rejecting message: system user uid='10000' is not allowed to send mail vps...

    Resolved cannot get sender domain

Hello, on my VPS I only host websites and no email service. The only thing, websites originate emails via their contact forms. For this reason email is activated postfix, but disactivated email service at each subscription level and no domain email mailbox is defined. Generally the emails are...

Resolved Resetting the mysql admin password

Thanks! the command # mysqlcheck -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` --all-databases worked fine :) For the rest I will dig later.

Resolved Resetting the mysql admin password

All right, I then successfully reset the admin password as per instructions. Still, I cannot login except via 'Plesk db'. My initial intention was to run a global mysqlcheck (instead of going through the Plesk UI database verification one by one) and there's no way I can get to mysqlcheck :(...

Resolved Resetting the mysql admin password

Hi Igor, it is my understanding that the Plesk username/password is not the same as the mysql's and that document talsk about Plesk account only, or am I wrong?

Resolved Resetting the mysql admin password

Hello, I am trying to do the same as described in here Resolved - Changing root/MySQL passwords as I seem to have lost the mysql admin password or perhaps never had it somehow. I can login using 'Plesk db', but when I try and change the password (step 2) I get: ERROR 1146 (42S02): Table...

Resolved Using SSH Key Manager extension

Hi UFHH01, I had seen that, but my question was about using the Plesk SSH Key Manager extension to add the pub key file at the right location. Apparently the extension can only deal with subscritions (vhosts). Therefore I created a key pair and added the authorized_keys file in the appropriate...

Resolved Using SSH Key Manager extension

Hi all, I installed the SSH Key Manager extension and managed to configure a subscription to use the key file with SFTP, which was relatively straightforward to do. However, how do I define and setup the keys for the SSH root login to the server? Is it possible via Plesk and its extensions or...

    Resolved SFTP no longer accessible

Hi, for information, the error has disappeared. When trying today with filezilla I got a warning about a key change and that it could be a security threat (I lost the actual message). I accepted and continued and voila, all is there. There weren't any updated and I have not played with keys. I...

    Resolved SFTP no longer accessible

    i notices that libc.so.6 is in all vhosts folders, such as : 2127336 Aug 1 23:09 /var/www/vhosts/.../usr/lib64/libc.so.6 but in /usr/ I read: 12 Sep 15 09:04 /usr/lib64/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.17.so 2127336 Aug 1 23:09 /usr/lib64/libc-2.17.so What does that mean? Am I running 2 different versions?

    Resolved SFTP no longer accessible

Hi, I doubt that's the case. I have 400KB memory available and I see no other message indicating some issues. Perhaps file discriptors and things like that? How do I monitor them, please? The segfautl only happens when somebody attemps an ftp access and the sequence it's always the same (the...

    Resolved SFTP no longer accessible

I just noticed that each attempt to connect to SFTP produces a segfault, such as this one: Sep 21 16:20:43 vps kernel: bash[12928]: segfault at 1 ip 00007f28927033bc sp 00007fffc4a6bcc0 error 4 in libc.so.6[7f28925cf000+1b8000] By this it looks to me that Plesk is not involved, most likely...

Hi, I saw that, thanks, my anticipated update was a kind of mistake in fact... Anyway, do you think it's likely due to that or shall I keep searching?
