  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Recommended or "most" used Linux for Plesk Obsidian

We went from CentOS7 servers to Ubuntu 22.04 and find the Ubuntu servers work without issue. Our main decision in doing that was being able to update them in place from say 22.02 to 22.04, etc.

Resolved System Time show in UTC

Eastern Time - shows correctly there. This was also an issue on Linux in 18.0.53 pre update #2. It was fixed over there a few updates ago.

Resolved System Time show in UTC

The system time on the Plesk home screen continues to display UTC time after 18.0.54 update. Notice one of the fixes in 18.0.54 was the following, and not sure if it's related. Timestamps in log files now use the time zone set in Tools & Settings > System Time instead of UTC. (PPPM-14051)

Question Long Term Goal for SiteJet Extension?

The SiteJet extension in 18.0.54 is nice. See it's free to use, so what's the catch? Is this going to evolve into a paid tier plan or remain free?

Those are the errors you need to correct. The result of the nginx-t command is telling you the error, the file where it is located, and the line on which it exists. I'm not going to be able to help you fix the errors, but now you know what to fix.

Issue Failed to connect to the Let's Encrypt server https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org.

If by chance this is a windows server running Plesk, make sure in your IIS configuration for that domain that the HSTS option is checked. I've seen on a windows server with Plesk, this option become un-sync'd from the HSTS option in Plesk and cause this exact error. If not windows, try toggling...

Additionally, you can add a timezone to the system php.ini for say php8.2-fpm, which by default has no timezone set (and shows UTC from the domains phpinfo page generated from the php settings page), and that does not solve the issue either. After that update, the phpinfo page generated form...

Resolved Timestamps in Apache logs and Obsidian 18.0.53

Can confirm that as soon as we upgrade any Ubuntu 22.04 or CentOS 7 system from 18.0.52 Update #3 to 18.0.53, the time begins to display as UTC in both domain logs, and on other Plesk GUI screens (like the home page), where the last time checked for update time stamp is shown.
