Have you enabled debug logging before backup as I mentioned above? In this case logs will contain much more information, which can be applicable. You can attach your logs to your post using "Upload a File" button

From the backup.log I see there are some problems with with HTTPS tramsport usage. As a workaround you can try to use new migrator - Plesk Migrator (http://autoinstall.plesk.com/panel-migrator/doc/index.htm)

Could you check logs at /var/log/plesk/PMM/export-* and /var/log/plesk/panel.log You possibly have to enable debug logging to get more information (http://kb.odin.com/en/120101)

Do you backup several domains to the same FTP folder? What is your scenario? Possibly using of separate folders on FTP may help you.

Actually it has been already done. I've tested it on Plesk 12.5.30. It was an issue on old APS packages, which may overwrite wp-config settings. It seems it's fixed now.
