Hi Knarf, the version of the update program is ok. the error messages at the end of the update seems like a scripting problem. try to restart the kav process by hand type " service kavehost restart " if this fails try " service kavehost start " Good luck

Problemes with kav Hi, try to start the kav8update tool out of the /opt/kav/sdk8l3/bin path there might be no virusdefinitions in the bases path.

Update Aufruf Hallo, ist es möglich das das du keine Virendefinitionen im Verzeichnis /opt/kav/sdk8l3/bases hast ? Dann rufe mal kav8update auf damit sollten die Virendatenbanken auf den aktuellen Stand gebracht werden. Gruß Stefan
