Resolved Is it OK to remove Plesk-py27?

Well, at first glance, the system (Plesk panel, and hosted sites) still seems to be running after removing them. Thank you for your help.

Resolved Is it OK to remove Plesk-py27?

I've checked (in the extension.. i assume that is where I should be looking) and "Plesk Migrator 2.6.11" is not installed. I've never actually used it, and had assumed above that it was part of the main plesk package (my bad). Does that mean I don't actually need the above packages?

Resolved Is it OK to remove Plesk-py27?

Thats what I was thinking. Can you tell me why APTITUDE UPGRADE would think that it should remove these? And also, how I stop it wanting to do so in future, so that I can use aptitude upgrade in the future to keep things up to date. At the moment I only have the choice of doing it all or doing...

Resolved Is it OK to remove Plesk-py27?

    When I do a aptitude upgrade, I get the following: The following packages will be REMOVED: plesk-py27{u} plesk-py27-pip{u} plesk-py27-setuptools{u} plesk-py27-virtualenv{u} plesk-wheel-cffi{u} plesk-wheel-cryptography{u} plesk-wheel-psutil{u} 0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 7 to...

Resolved Warning on System Updates Page

I had considered this, but wondered if this was just a temporary fix, and whether the message would re-appear the next time there were any updates. I have now run the commands, and on the 'aptitude upgrade', I am getting errors with "installing phpMyAdmin" stating problems with Access Denied...

Resolved Warning on System Updates Page

Using Onyx & Ubuntu 14.04LTS. On the systems update page, I am getting a warning at the top stating I have found a message on https://kb.plesk.com/en/130271 which explains the problem in terms of YUM, but as Ubuntu uses APT/DPKG, I'm not sure how I should resolve it, or even identify what the...

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Sorted the APS controller now using other posts on this forum Not too worried about the DNS fix as I think my DNS is OK, but might be worth someone having a look at it to see why it might have failed.

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Good Morning. Last night I eventually got much of it working. I can now log onto Plesk Admin, and most sites are working (although there are still some Apache issues to sort out, but I think I can manage that). During the repair, there were two issues, that I'm not exactly sure about" There...

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Hello UFHH01 I've done all that, and on running "plesk repair -n" I still get the following: /usr/bin/sw-engine: relocation error: /usr/bin/sw-engine: symbol CRYPTO_memcmp, version OPENSSL_1.0.0 not defined in file libcrypto.so.1.0.0 with link time reference exit status 127 I've also run the...

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Hi I'm taking one step at a time now..... During the "aptitude upgrade" I got the following error several times. /usr/bin/sw-engine: relocation error: /usr/bin/sw-engine: symbol CRYPTO_memcmp, version OPENSSL_1.0.0 not defined in file libcrypto.so.1.0.0 with link time reference Is this...

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Thank you for your help. I have checked the /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/* and note that although everything is pointed to trusty, all are commented out within the sources.list.d directory, and certainly do not include the whole list like you have given in your examples at...

Resolved Failed Upgrade to Ubuntu 14

Hello I am running Onyx, and I went through the upgrade as outlined in https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/17.0/administrator-guide/server-administration/distupgrade-support.74627/ After the dist-upgrade I went to run the distupgrade.helper.<OS.old-OS.new>_post.sh file and it was not there. So, I...

Resolved Update UBUNTU 12->14 Failed in Pre-Upgrade script

Seems like the system update might have done the trick. I added a few extra "echo" statements in the script to find where the issue was happening, and it appears the script never gets to the point where it displays the error message which tells you what is wrong. Anyway, i'm now at the stage...

Resolved Update UBUNTU 12->14 Failed in Pre-Upgrade script

OK - I'm still struggling. It's my first attempt at upgrading the OS on a plesk server, so apologies for a) lacking knowledge of where to look, and b) lacking knowledge of what you might need to help; I've checked the logs, and the only thing that I see was the errors regarding: NO_PUBKEY...

Resolved Update UBUNTU 12->14 Failed in Pre-Upgrade script

Yep - agreed. I had hoped someone might know what it was trying to do at that point in the script, as the error message "some error" isn't particularly helpful and I didn't know where to look next as the log only says to looks at it self. Will check other logs you suggest.

Resolved Update UBUNTU 12->14 Failed in Pre-Upgrade script

Hello I updated to Plesk 17 this morning... and all went well. I'm now trying to bring UBUNTU up to date, and have got as far as the first stage... on running /usr/local/psa/bin/distupgrade.helper.ubt12-ubt14_pre.x64.sh I get 'some error'. The last few lines of the log are: Hit...
