What i run is "Plesk WebHost Edition - Plesk Web Host Edition license" which is maintained by the Plesk reseller. So it must come with something in that edition as i have not purchased or installed anything else.
I think plesk has this built in. I have virus total website check, but i dont think thats doing email. There is an Antivirus email option on each email account so i assume its a native feature.
So when the AV software detects an income email that contains a virus to one of my clients domains and deletes it, it sends me the email about it.
Is there a way to change this so that the alert goes to the email address on file for that domain instead of coming to me as the main plesk server...
No, i just use Backup-telemetry extension to see what taking the most time. But a full backup is a 8 hours process. I dont backup to FTP because the bandwidth cost from the data center would be very expensive.
Its put on by the data center that the Plesk VM is hosted at, not something i can just disable. I will have to check with them if they can do that. The plesk backups work fine for both backup and restoring, its just the WP backup that gives "access denied" when backing up just the WP files in...
There is the Plesk extension for Sucuri Security Scanner & VirusTotal Website Check.
The Windows server itself is running BitDefender.
I disabled Sucuri for one of the domains and still didnt work.
I have not tried the repair yet, but this happens on all subscriptions/domains. Seems like its a setting as its server wide. I have probably a dozen people using WordPress sites out of about 60 subscriptions.
Running Windows Plesk Obsidian 18.0.41. When a user from one of the subscribed domains with a WordPress site goes to BACK UP / RESTORE and attempts to run a backup it goes for a while then fails with Access Denied. Happening for multiple users / sites. They can run a full backup of the account...
Update: Its proceeded past the domain it was on at 80% which was large. So its not frozen but still take probably twice as long as it did just a week ago and I cant figure out why.
So I am running Version 18.0.40 Update #3 on windows and in the last week the full backups are extremely slow. A Full backup is about 100gb and stored locally on the same machine. They start at 1AM and usually when I get in my office at 5am they are done. I never payed attention to exactly how...
I have an Orphaned DNS entree from a failed domain creation and now i cant add that new domain because it says DNS entree already exists. I found this article on how to remove it...
