I have a question regarding the auto update function of the Wordpress Toolkit. Since Wordpress already updates itself automatically, what does the auto update function do if I enable it for a site?

I'm trying to install Onyx using both the one click installer as well as the console installer and both methods only let me choose 12.5.30. Onyx isn't even in the list when run with --all-versions I'm trying to install Onyx on a Debian 8 VM. Any ideas?
