Question Any point having Nginx in front of Apache 2.4

PSi_101

Regular Pleskian
I understand that the purpose of having Nginx in front of Apache as a reverse proxy is to reduce memory usage essentially. This was the thinking when Apache 2.2 was commonly used and I totally get it. Nginx handled connections better, used less memory while doing it, etc etc.
Does this logic still apply to Apache 2.4 as I understand there are quite a lot of optimisations made to reduce memory usage?

I just should notice that Nginx out of the box without any configuration performs works much better, faster and more economical to resources than Apache 2.4. Many detailed confirmations of this can be easily found on the Internet. And yes, this logic still applies to Apache 2.4. Please find more details in Plesk documentation - Apache with nginx
