PHP-FPM installed but not showing anywhere in control panel

Ah, the Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) service was not running, enabled that now and I can see the various nginx options.

PHP-FPM installed but not showing anywhere in control panel

Thanks but I can't see the 'Process PHP by nginx' setting in web server settings either, so that doesn't help me out. I have these components installed, and php-fpm is running OK in the services page... nginx 1.6.0-1.14060611.centos5 php 5.4.39-45.el5.art php-fpm 5.4.39-45.el5.art

PHP-FPM installed but not showing anywhere in control panel

I've installed PHP-FPM into Plesk 12 and it is showing as a running service. However I can't find any way of enabling it per site at all. I'm still just getting the 3 standard PHP options: Apache module CGI application FastCGI application The help documentation states the option would be...

Host just website not email for a domain - problem

Fixed Thanks coolemail, I did actually sort this myself a few days back by turning off mail for that domain and setting the DNS to the external nameserver (thus ignoring the Plesk DNS record) but I guess your method would yield the same results. Phil

Host just website not email for a domain - problem

Hi, One of my clients wanted me to transfer their website onto our web server but not their email which they want left at their current ISP. I've changed the DNS records via their ISP to point at my server apart from the MX records and A record for 'mail' which I've left untouched. I've...

    Optimize PSA InnoDB database

So if I'm in phpmyadmin, select the PSA database, click the SQL tab and then use... ALTER TABLE tablename ENGINE='InnoDB'; Where 'tablename' is whatever table I want to target, that should work?

    Optimize PSA InnoDB database

Hi there, I have a new server install with Plesk 10.2, and am optimizing mySQL to get the server as speedy as possible. Running mysqltuner I'm informed that the InnoDB tables for PSA are fragmented and need optimizing - I've run optimize commands on that database using myphpmadmin and get the...

Changed mySQL admin password - broken Plesk

Cheers, my ISP fixed the problem for me in the end, but those instructions above would work - although I was led to believed the password in /etc/psa/.psa.shadow was now hashed as of v10.

Changed mySQL admin password - broken Plesk

Hi there, I've just changed the master admin password for mySQL not realising it would break Plesk (v10.2), now I'm getting the following message when trying to connect to Plesk... How can I update my Plesk install to use the new mySQL password, or roll back to the previous password that...

Upgrade to 10.0.1 - massive failure

OK, running... ..a second time seems to have resolved the problems. The server appears to be up and functioning normal again. Phew.

Upgrade to 10.0.1 - massive failure

I initiated the upgrade from Plesk 9.5.3 to 10.0.1 through the control panel -> updater. That seemed to be going fine at first but something went horribly wrong, now the control panel and all domains are down on the server. On scouring the forums I found and used the following suggestion to fix...

Can I safely delete older files from root/psa

Hi there, I have directories for many previous plesk installs (for example PSA_8.3.0) in my root/psa directory. Can I safely delete these as they take up a considerable amount of disk space, or do they contain files still needed by the current install? Thanks, Phil

    Virtual hosts in Apache

So this can't be done then, right? Anyone?

Configure .htaccees to redirect to http://www.

This works for me... Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [L,R=301]

    Virtual hosts in Apache

Hi, I'm trying to setup a virtual host in Apache HTTPD on a server with Plesk installed. I want to forward requests for a specific host to Tomcat running on port 10000. I could not see a way to do this from within Plesk, so I added a file to the /etc/httpd/conf.d directory. The file has a...

    mod_deflate page compression

OK thanks all, now have a deflate.conf file as recommended. My server only hosts a couple of high-traffic sites so the CPU usage is well under control for the moment. Cheers, Phil

    mod_deflate page compression

Oh, did not realise Plesk can rewrite the httpd.conf file from time to time. Can you give me an idiots guide to using conf.d for this purpose instead as my Apache knowledge is pretty limited. Thanks, Phil

    Tomcat Aliases

Thanks. I see, $199 dollars seems quite a lot to pay just so I can do a vhost change. Can I not edit the Apache file manually or is that going to screw up Plesk?

    mod_deflate page compression

Hi there, some of you might find this useful: I have successfully enabled mod_deflate in Apache v2.x on my webserver and there do not seem to be any adverse affects on Plesk (so far!). For those who don't know mod_deflate compresses data before transmitting to compatible browsers, which then...
