Why do you think that it should be written to php.ini?

safe_mode off

is written to /var/www/vhosts/plesk101.domain.ru/conf/13196768870.18476100_httpd.include

for example.

Why do you think that it should be written to php.ini?

Hello Igor,

with activated Option "run PHP as fastCGI application" (which I assume is set by many users) the safe-mode flag must be written to the local php.ini in /var/www/vhosts/%domain%/etc/php.ini

As I stated in my post (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=209634), setting this value to "off" causes the default value (which mostley is "on") to be taken into account.

Seems to be the same for http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=209766

Ok. My colleagues from Plesk Service Team will check it and I inform you with results.

I have php as apache module. In the 13235976940.61096400_httpd.include file I have no references to safemode off. Only a reference to SetEnv PP_CUSTOM_PHP_INI /var/www/vhosts/domain.net/etc/php.ini . So assumed it there. So changes made in the panel are not saved in the include nor a ini file.
