• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question 17.5.3 Questions Poodle, IP restrictions and Network Solutions

To All:

I am new to Plesk...

I have 3 questions that I hope you can help me with...

1) We are seeing that some our sites are open to Poodle. I ran the disableSSLv3 script on the sites and it is still coming up. Any ideas to get this resolved.

2) We are hosting on network solutions- I would like to restrict via IP who can get to our admin pages, I put in the IP address that I would like to allow access to our admin pages and when I try to save it I is telling me to add a 10.x.x.x number so that I will not lose access to manage the page and then save it. It seems that it is not blocking access to the site.

3) I would like to get rid of all of the plesk self signed certificates. Network Solutions recommended that I not change the certificate for the site itself. Anybody have any issues changing it to a real certificate with Network Solutions..
