If you have any scanning of the message by any filter, or if it goes to several recipients, or recipients that forward it to many destinations, it will take longer than this. I've found I only got the error message when any of these circumstances occurred, and since increasing the timeout, have yet to receive another one. I used to get dozens daily, haven't seen any in 3 days now.
