  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

500 - Internal Server Error

I am repeatedly getting this error on my Plesk install. So you understand the situation here. The install was done by a host and worked great for a little while. What could be the cause of this? I am guessing it's lighthttpd, which (I believe) runs Plesk now? I have done nothing to provoke this behavior. The only thing I have ever changed on this server was the max_alloed_packets on the my.cnf config so I could upload a large database. I have since gone back and commented out this line since I have the database installed and I no longer need this. If you could provide some suggestion on how we can diagnose this, please do so. Thank you in advance.

Do you have any related error messages in main log of Plesk backend sw-cp-server - /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log ?

That file is literally filled to the rafters with this type of error . . .

2010-07-30 16:38:29: (mod_fastcgi.c.3805) pid 14100 5 not found: No child processes

What's confusing me is, I NEVER configured anything along that line. I never changed the httpd conf or anything like that. Could this be fixed by maybe restarting whatever Plesk runs on? (I believe light-httpd)
