Resolved 64 bit plesk panel

Binesh S

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I just want to know whether plesk planning to launch 64 bit version ?

Right now plesk support only 32 bit application like MySQL, tomcat, apache , mssql etc

I think 32 bit application certain limitation for memory, processor, connection etc.

Thanks
Binesh

I suppose you are talking about Plesk for Windows, right? Because your question is not actual for Linux version.
Regarding Windows version I can say that we are moving in this direction gradually. For instance, IIS is 64-bit by itself (but we are using 32-bit pools there), MSSQL 64-bit is supported. Yes, MySQL 5.1 is really 32-bit, but 64-bit MySQL 5.6 on 64-bit OSes is supported. PHP7 is 64-bit from the beginning.
I think 32 bit application certain limitation for memory, processor, connection etc.
Don't worry, it is very unlikely that you once you reach these limits :)

Thanks IgorG, Look forward , Plesk support all component 64 bit. Let me know do you support all 64 bit application for Linux server, for example Redhat 7 tomcat 7 ,MySQL 5.6 and Java 1.7.

So that I can plan migration instead of Windows sever. My windows server got some limitation for 32 bit MySQL

Yes, all these applications works in OS 64-bit environment and Plesk support them.
