• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

7.5.2 a memory hog?

Hi,

I manage the plesk a/c on a VPS which is limited to 128 MB memory. Previously running 7.1.6, the Virtuozzo resource manager consistently reported the System usage to be in the 50 - 60% range. However, once I've upgraded to 7.5.2 this number is consistently in the high 80s and often in the 90% range. The rest of the server has been identical.. the only change has been the upgrade..

Can anyone provide me with information as to why this is and how I might get it back to the 60% range.

Thanks :)

The system resources are high due to high memory consumption as illustrated by this stat:

ID Current Use Soft Limit Hard Limit Units Description

privvmpages 54,839 58,983 65,536 4KB pages Memory allocation limit.
