• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I have a major problem--I backed up all my domains on an individual basis in Plesk 7.5.4, then re-imaged my server. Now, Plesk 8.0.1 doesn't recognize the backups. Please help! I have 20 domains that are dead...

PROGRESS!

I just figured out the backup dumps are MIME encoded, and that WinZip can read it, and dump it into UNKNOWN.xxx files. Those files are a mixture of XML and tar.gz files. When expanding the tar.gz files, I noticed that it includes the domain.ext/ files from the old /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.ext/ from 7.5.4. I have successfully restored one of the domains that doesn't have email or MySQL.

I still need help on mail and mysql, though...

MySQL is GZipped in one of the files. It's just a dump. AWESOME. Now for the mail...

I'm come to a screeching halt--some of my domains have more than 2 gigs of information, and the decoder feels these are too big and quits. *Sigh*

Anyone? Please?
