7.5.4 to 8.1 Migration problems

We have about 60 domains to move to a new CentOS 4.3 Plesk 8.1 box. Did a trial run with a couple of domains. Seemed to work pretty well. Files, databases, client setup, permissions all seem good. The only problem is that the hosting didn't become 'live' until I sent into the setup and clicked Save. Didn't change anything but that did it. Anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

The only other thing is SSL certs. We have several that are on the general server repository, not domain. I saw someone say you need to do a backup and then restore? Any other options or more details on this option? (I don't see any backup in 7.5.4)

First seems to be a "apache restart interval" problem. Go to Server > Server Preferences and set "Apache restart interval" to 0 - this should help.

Indeed, Migration Manager will not copy server SSL certificates. You may backup your 7.5.4 installation using PleskX.pl migration agent. Copy psa/PMM/agents/{PleskX,shared} into your destination server and run PleskX.pl -da --server to produce backup of 7.5.4 installation. Then you may restore this backup on _unconfigured_ 8.1.0 (this limitation is due to the possible conflicts upon server settings restore)

Hmm I thought that but I don't think so. I moved over two domains. Noticed one was giving default Plesk screen. Went into setup info and saved as described above. Also restarted apache. Domain 1 was ok. Checked domain 2 later (after confirmed apache restart). Was showing Plesk page.

Yikes, we've already configured 8.1 and have several domains running off of it so that's not happening. I'm going to try and reinstall the certs by hand to see if that works and if not try Plesk support.

Update on Server SSL Certificates

One can just edit the cert and copy over the Private Key and Certificate. Works fine - don't forget to Setup the cert. So we don't have too many so this will work for us. Will be hassle if someone has a lot on the server.

Regarding other problem - guess we will be editing/setting up the moved domains by hand.

I migrated 60 domains today, to new box with 8.1 from 8.0. I have the same problem with the Server Default page, some just keep giving it, now for 5 hours... I did setup and pushed the OK button... Some one know another workarround?
