8.2.1 very bad update for qmail

Hello,
bevor update to 8.2.1 our mailserver run fine and without any error´s. After update we have a lot of angry custs in our hotline.
They have timeouts with mailclients. We try to foun out what is going wrong! But we receive ervery time this error:

Hi,

we are experiencing same problems - after upgrade to 8.2.1 the SMTP-service is sometimes unreachable and connections time out ...

After troubleshooting several hours I figured out, that this issue is somehow related to the SPAM-Assassin-update - after turning off "SPF" and "RBL" support in Plesk - email -menu, email is working fine again ...

But this needs to be corrected anyway by Plesk-support-team, since we are running without SPAM-protextion now ...



AndreasK please try whether or not this works for you as temp. workaround.

we only use the spamassassin and no spf. In our network there are some BLServer running (but not in plesk, because that want work).

Since the update we only have massive problems.
But i have open a support-ticket to get help from swsoft.

I have the same problem !

I've no spamassasin or "SPF" and "RBL" activated ... I couldn't find any good issue to make it work again :(

on both of my plesk server on 8.2.1 all the message coming from a server in 8.2.0 it says : Sorry,_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connecti
on

in the logmail in :
/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog

For exemple :

I use the plesk 8.2.0 server to send an email to an address hosted on a 8.2.1 plesk server !

Developers were notified about this problem, they promised to decrease number of MySQL queries in qmail in Plesk 8.3.0, hotfix 1.

Yes ok but there is still a main problem with this 8.2.1 update and Qmail server on our boxes ! Hope that it will be fixed soon cause I'm getting thousands of mailer deamon and other mailman bounce notice :(
 
Any update on this? I have 2800 emails stuck in the queue...
 
I couldn't find any thing that fix this bug :-( it is really a big problem for me, there is no way to downgrade ?

A system engineer did something with my Plesk and fixes the problem, maybe this log can help to somebody:

Hello,

I'm already running version 8.2.1, does the problem happens only when migrating from Plesk 8.2 (with tons of customers) to Plesk 8.2.1? Or the 8.2.1 is the problem and it does not matter if its a migration of if it is a fresh install ?
