8.2 not recognizing 7.5 reloaded backups

HELP!!!!

GoDaddy server. I made full backups under 7.5 Reloaded, and upgraded to 8.2.1, which does NOT recognize the 7.5 backups as being valid.

What do I do?

By the way, did I say, HELP!!!!
 
I have the same problem

So i'm commenting on this to bring it to the top.

Please someone help!!!!

All my backups are useless and my domains are down.

Hi,

Thanks I managed to solve this yesterday. Backup-convert does do the trick.

For anyone else if you want more details here's how I did it.

Use putty or some other program to get to the server. Log in then type su - this will log you into the root.

Now find your backup files on the server. Mine were in obscure directories /var/lib/psa/dumps/1/1 and /var/lib/psa/dumps/1/3

I then got into the /var/lib/psa/dumps/1/3 directory and typed the following

/usr/local/psa/bin/backup-convert convert -o backupnew backupold

Where "backupnew" can be anything you want and "backupold" is the actual name of your existing backup file.

It created a new backup file which is recognised when I go to the PLESK panel. I then just restore as normal.
