  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

A customer's account can not connect to the panel

Avi E.

New Pleskian
Hello, creative for the first time a customer account (under Account Reseller) and the user is not able to connect to the panel plesk
How to add the option to connect to the panel? Have had access to the management of its hosting?

Hi Avi E.,

please clarify, what you mean, when you write:
the user is not able to connect to the panel plesk

Is the reseller able to login to the Plesk Control Panel at http://yourdomain.com:8443 ? If not, please check again username and password and make sure, that upper-case and lower-case letters differ. You could as well change the username and/or password again, just to be sure, that there is no typing error. If you still experience issues, even that you are sure that username and password match, please investigate your log - files for issues/failures and consider as well to use a "debug-log-level mode" for a better output at the panel.log .

If the reseller should be able to have the "Ability to use remote API" with his login credentials, then this option has to be enabled in the settings over the depending reseller-plan. This option and other options for a reseller subscriptions is for example available at:

Home > Service Plans > ... tab: > Reseller Plans > Reseller subscription plane name
Again, a look at the log - files will point to possible issues and a "debug-log-level mode" is usefull for investigations.
