A/IN denied - ANY/IN denied

Hello
I've found in my logwatch entries like

client 124.232.142.220 query (cache) 'www.google.it/A/IN' denied: 2 Time(s)

client 192.3.140.202 query (cache) '1x1.cz/ANY/IN' denied

with diferents IP's and domains (not only www.google.com)

Will anybody tell me what does it mean?

Script kiddies and strange people often try to play with your server... in most cases, these are all spoofing attacks, but they could result in constant DDos - attacks. You might want to handle that with a Fail2ban jail, as described here: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/dns-recurcion-problem-or-attack.312799/#post-747464

hm... if you think, that the search option isn't really good, here in the forum, it might be, that you used too short words, i.e. "a" "any" "in" .... such words are far too common, as they would make sense. If you would have used " bind denied named denied " , you would have received 7 results.
