• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved A record for Server hostname

vefeind

New Pleskian
Hi.

Do I need to create A record for server host name, as I get this error when I'm trying to install ssl from Let's encrypt.

Invalid response from https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/authz-v3/2935366529.
Details:
Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns
Status: 400
Detail: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up A for hq.vefeind.is - check that a DNS record exists for this domain.

https://webmail.mydomain.is is working fine, but not the server hostname server.mydomain.is

What am I doing wrong.

Never mind I found out how to do this ;)
Just create a new website with your server hostname server.mydomain.com and then you can install ssl for the server :)
