• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I'm with a shared hosting provider using Plesk 9.5.4 on Linux and I'm trying to set a default site to show when you access the IP address. There is only 1 website on this IP address. My host says this isn't possible but I know it is, I've been doing it for years and I also have it working on another IP address on the exact same hosting account.

So in short,

1.1.1.1 works and shows site1
2.2.2.2 doesn't work and shows a default plesk page that I have no access to.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong or how I can convince the host that this is possible?

As far as I can see, both site are setup the exact same.

Thanks in advance.
