Accessing "Access" Database

I apologize if I sound too uninformed.

I migrated a site from www.acmeinternet.com to lunarpages.com, which uses plesk 7.6.1

There are about 4 access databases which are used through .asp pages to look up info.

The directory under httpdocs that they reside in are fpdb sub-directory. I had no idea it was so complex to allow the pages to access the databases. I need some real basic info on how to set up to access these. Questions are...

There are 4 databases. Do I need to set up within control panel four different databases?

They are .mdb which type of selection do I use as far as type of database? Mysql? or other?

I need some step by step set-up info. I have looked on this site as well as Lunarpages and I cannot find enough info to get this done. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I'm not sure you can "manage" number of MS-Access databases. Don't bother with Plesk settings for MS-Access databases.

If the databases are in a sub-directory beside httpdocs, ask Lunarpages.com the physical path (D:\WWW\domain.com\fpdb\) of your website and use it into your connection string. And ask them to set the permissions to the user 'Everybody' to read/write to that directory.
