    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk Version 18.0.31 Update #2, Centos 8, Acronis Extension

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Since the last update today, Acronis lost connection to Acronis Server, i m trying to connect it and get stucked until Timeout comes.

Checking ports for the backup agent installation
Downloading the backup agent
Installing the required components
perl
Installing the backup agent
Registering the backup agent on the management server
Enabling backup .. (Stuck)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Uninstall Acronis Extension, cleanup Acronis Folders, Deleted Server Images on Cloud, Fresh Acronis Extension Install (Disabled, Firewall, Fail2ban, Mod Security)), and get stucked again. Enabling from Acronis Server not possible too.

Additional Info, Final error: Failed to enable backup. Please try to enable backup manually from the dashboard.
 
Why do you think that it is Plesk related issue but not Acronis backup extension?
Have you tried contact support of Acronis, vendor of this extension?
 
I have the same issue with 2 of my 8 VPS servers. 1 Centos 8 fails and 1 Centos 7 fails to start from console or manually. :(
 
Same error for me with Plesk Version 18.0.31 and more recent
