It would be very helpful if Backup Manager displayed detailed performance metrics for each completed backup, especially for remote backups.
Problem
Currently, admins cannot see how long a backup took, how fast it transferred, or how its performance compares to previous runs. This makes it difficult to plan backup windows, detect bottlenecks, or monitor remote backup speed.
Proposed Improvements
Add a "Details" section for each completed backup showing:
• Total backup duration
• Average transfer speed (remote backups)
• Incremental data size (for incremental backups)
• Size before/after compression
Optional enhancements:
• Historical averages (last 7 / 30 backups)
• Per-stage timing (compression, packaging, transfer, verification)
• Export to CSV/JSON or API endpoint
• Alerts when duration or speed deviates from normal
Benefits
• Easier scheduling of backups based on real performance
• Faster detection of network or storage issues
• Better capacity planning for incremental data growth
• Improved visibility for hosting providers and large environments
