Question Add SSL to forward

Hey,

I have another question regarding domain forwarding.
I have a domain -> f.e. www.testdomain.com forwards to www.futureweb.at. The forward works perfectly, but if I try to call the domain with https, it doesn't work because there is no ssl cert configured.

How can i add a ssl cert to a forward?

Let's Encrypt supports domain aliases

Sadly not, the destination domain isn't hosted by us, so I can't add an alias for this domain.

Why do you want to add an SSL certificate to a redirect? There is nothing that is encrypted on a redirect, so why encrypt that at all?

A customer told us, that the redirect isn't working, because he tried to type in the URL with https, so he got the ssl warning.
We just told him, that he can't use SSL for this domain. So i thought that there may be a solution that both (http and https) types are working.
