adding domain aliases to subdomains

How can I add a domain alias to a subdomain? For example, I want to create an alias 'subdomain.com' for 'subdomain.tld.com'.
 
You can create aliases only for domains but not for subdomains. So, create domain 'subdomain.tld.com' and necessary alias 'subdomain.com' for this domain.
