Question Advanced Monitor Alerts / Increase Swap Memory

Lrnt

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

Since a month, I get alerts in advanced monitoring each time my backups are performed (4:00 AM) about swap memory (See screenshot).

Capture.PNG

My dedicated server (64GB of RAM) runs with Debian 9.12 / Plesk Obsidian 18.0.25

Do you know how can I easily increase this swap memory from 1GB to 4 or 8GB ?

Thank you.
Lrnt.

Thanks.

I should have been more specific...
I'm looking for a simple method on Debian.

my server have 4 gb ram but my sites very lite and not have many visitors but having same issue also cpu usage have same problem

Hi Lrnt,

I think there are two possible ways:

The issue is that the threshold is a % that seems to be stuck with the original size of the swap file.
we could set a fixed value for the threshold but that would require having to update this value each time the swap file size is modified which is not too often. Other Plesk components are aware of the change in swap size so I would expect the graph + warning systems to be capable of the same.
