• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

After migrating to new Server I get "...your license allows hosting only 10 sites."

New Pleskian
Hello,
I changed Servers recently and migrated my plesk to the new Server.
All went well at first, all of my sites were working.
Then after a while I got the following error message:
Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Panel, please obtain and install a new valid license key.
The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license.
The number of websites hosted on the server exceeds the limits defined by your license. You have 14 sites hosted; your license allows hosting only 10 sites.

Is there any way to disable some domains, perhaps through command line, to temporarily gain access to the admin panel?
or is ther anything else i can do other than upgrading my license.

My server is running Ubuntu 12(64bit) with Plesk 11
My reseller is strato in germany

Install fresh Image of Ubuntu 12.04 and Plesk 11 to your old Server with 30 Domain license.
Migrate Back.
Cancel deal for the new Server with 10 Domain license.

Or buy license for 30 Domains as add on to the new Server.
Strato Price is 4,99.-€ for 30 Domains.

Thank you for answering my thread.

Unfortunately the old Server is already canceled and no longer available to us.

4 of the 14 domains can be safely deactivated or removed, they are not productive sites just domain aliases or placeholders.
So is there a way to deactivate or remove them without having access to the admin panel, because I don't really want to buy a new licence.

Sorry im not a expert and dont know if you can remove Domains without having acess to Plesk Panel, but one more idea:
Strato makes automatic 10 Backups of your whole Server.
If you take a look at the backups (https://config.stratoserver.net) maybe there is a Point in time the Panel did work, before the error message appeared?
I dont know if this works , but if you can set your Server back to one of these points, maybe you have access to Plesk again for a while? (Alias Domains do not count to the limit of 10 Domains, if they are configured correct).
Sorry for bad english...
