• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

This is happening for all my domains on the box. The upgrade went well or so it seemed. Everything works so far as I can tell except email. I cannot send mail through the server either.

Have stopped spamassassin and drweb with no success. All mail is being rejected. This is a production box (please no flames) need to fix quickly. Thanks!

Ok - gave it a go again.

Disabled MAPS
Disabled Spamassassin
Disabled DrWeb

Now even though I've tried too many times to mention it worked. Go figure.

Will try re-enabling them and if it fails again, any suggestions on a fix would be greatly appreciated. Will let you know how it goes.

Looks like DrWeb turns out to be the culprit. With it enabled I cannot send. But I can still receive. For now will leave it disabled.

same problem for me.
this is what I have
telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost (127.0.0.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
relaylock: Error: HTTPD_INCLUDE_D not defined
relaylock: Error: HTTPD_INCLUDE_D not defined
Connection closed by foreign host.

any idea?

I managed to solve my own problem. plesk need to verify host name via host command and hostname. they must be identical.
then I installed plesk8

I could connect via telnet port 25 with no error - but wasn't receiving the test message. After turning off DrWeb I thought all was well as I'm receving mail now. But when I try to send they are all bouncing still. Here's a snippet from the maillog:

I have tried all I can think and I'm sure it's (hoping) something simple and I'm just missing it.

I'm having a similar problem since upgrading to 8.0. DrWeb spawns hundreds of qmail-inject requests that quickly consumes all the memory and the server stops responding. How do I disable DrWeb?

Log into Plesk
Under System - click on Server
Under Services - click on Service Management
To the right of DrWeb - click the square to stop the service.

Can receive all my domains email now, rejecting only ones that do not exist.

But still cannot send anything out via smtp is immediately rejected with:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at myhostname.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<[email protected]>:
This address no longer accepts mail.

Any qmail experts out there?
