Hi all,

is it possible to set all my domains the same username & password? also if i create a new domain, i want to have automaticly the same username & password like the other domains....

i hope you understand my english ;)

best regards

Wich service do you want that for? FTP? I wouldn't do that generally - if someone guesses one password he's got all.

You could use SCP with user root and you can access all domains, no matter who owns the files.

Hi,

When you create domain with physical hosting in Plesk it asks you to create its separate ftp account for this domain. Plesk does not allow having one ftp account that will be able to access multiple domains' directories - this is done for security purposes.

If you want you can manually create an account that will be able to access all domains' home directories (however I still would not recommend that). Instructions can be found here:
http://proftpd.org/docs/faq/linked/faq-ch5.html#AEN452

Changes to /etc/proftpd.conf file suggested in this guide are not necessary.
Plesk domains' home directory location can be found in /etc/psa/psa.conf (it is usually /var/www/vhosts)
