Question All sites on shared IP, extra IP needs to default to site on shared.

Hello Plesk users, this is my first post and first time using Plesk (which I really like so far).

Here is my issue:

I have a shared IP with all my sites on it, working fine.

I have added am extra IP to the server, also working fine.

On the shared IP I was able to set the default site to one of my domains so when I visit the IP directly it loads that site (this is required because we have customers make A records from their domain hosted elsewhere).

Now I want to set that same default site as the default for the extra IP address, but of course it's not available in the drop down list (I assume because it's hosted on a different IP).

How can I make this work?

Hi DonDDD,

it is NOT possible to assign an additional IP to your FQDN, but it is possible to forward traffic to another IP, using iptables.
