Issue Almalinux 9 Plesk Obsidian license issue

When i am trying to install a trial license, i am getting

Certificate signature verification failed; error info: error:03000098:digital envelope routines::invalid digest error:06880006:asn1 encoding routines::EVP lib (Error code: 2)

Nah, that's not the problem.
I am using Plesk on various OS flavors with LXC Proxmox for years without issues.

The issue now is related to almalinux 9 rsha1 implementation

Actually, we do not test Plesk on Proxmox.
The error message looks like an indication that there is something wrong with openssl installation or its settings on the server.

Not Proxmox per se is the problem.

But the official Almalinux 9 image from here : Index of /images/system/

I am not sure who is building the image, Almalinux or Proxmox .

I was wondering if is something related to a different implementation of openssl in Almalinux ?

So it seem the issue is related to how Plesk license procedure works.

Almalinux 9 does not have anymore "openssl-legacy "

As I encountered a similar issue with npm and the solution was to run

export NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider

This issue is also on Virtuozzo/OpenVZ 7.

Hi, seems Plesk did not fix it yet, any update for this?

I can duplicate the problem with Almalinux 9, no matter CLI or GUI, both errors:

CLI:
plesk sbin keymng --install --source-file trial.key
Install failed: Certificate signature verification failed; error info:
error:03000098:digital envelope routines::invalid digest
error:06880006:asn1 encoding routines::EVP lib
exit status 1

GUI:
Certificate signature verification failed; error info: error:03000098:digital envelope routines::invalid digest error:06880006:asn1 encoding routines::EVP lib (Error code: 2)
