• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Amazon S3 Backup Mislead us all i guess

Panagiotis

New Pleskian
Hi i just wanted to share that when the Plesk 17.8 was announced backup to Cloud was advertised as a new function of Plesk but i guess we are all happy to see that it is a new extension that needs a new subscription that costs almost half the plesk license and note the increase in license prices. We have been waiting for this feature which is already included in cpanel for the last 3 years as part of the platform. It is disappointing to see the route you took on this one and it unfortunately shows where the software is heading. You could at least advertise it as an extension and not mislead everyone.

I was a bit harsh because of the premium feature for the subscription option but anyway.
