• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Hi,

When I go to Plesk --> Process list, the message below is shown.

An error has occurred while receiving disk operations usage. Stdout: Stderr: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/sbin/iotop", line 10, in from iotop.ui import main File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/iotop/ui.py", line 46, in from iotop.data import find_uids, TaskStatsNetlink, ProcessList, Stats File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/iotop/data.py", line 51, in vmstat_f = VmStat() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/iotop/vmstat.py", line 23, in __init__ self.vmstat = self.read() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/iotop/vmstat.py", line 40, in read return pgpgin, pgpgout UnboundLocalError: local variable 'pgpgin' referenced before assignment Exit code: 1

Question: what is it and how to fix?

Thanks in advance

It could be a bug, but it could also be linked to the Python version used on the system. Did you update//modify Python after installing Plesk?
Please either submit it as an issue report here: Plesk Forum
or, if you are seeking a fast solution, please submit a support ticket with https://support.plesk.com

just wondered if this has/can be fixed at all?
same issue here, Proxmox 8.2 KVM Ubuntu 22.04
error seems to be related to the iotop package

simple fix/patch is add
Code:
pgpgin = 0
pgpgout = 0
to
Code:
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/iotop/vmstat.py
at lines 26 just after
Code:
def read(self)
