  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question Angular 2 and MongoDB?

itsjudd

New Pleskian
Using Plesk on Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS

I have a friend who wants to build a site using angular 2 and mongodb which I have zero experience with and have had a hard time trying to figure out how to get working on my server properly without breaking anything.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for what I need to be able to allow him to use Angular 2 and MongoDB that would be greatly appreciated.

Side Question, will installing MongoDB affect my MySQL at all? Can both be running?

Thanks!

As far as I see angular is based on node.js technology. I'm not familiar with angular but I think you can try to use Plesk node.js support feature for deploying angular on Plesk server.
After that, you may share your experience for Plesk community here.
