I found out how to do DNS management with the domain aliases.. but one big problem.... It doesn't use the same standard DNS template of default.. Where is it getting its default settings for?

The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release. -
The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Same problem here
I have the same problem here; i use 4psa DNS Manager script to export the zones, but the used template is indeed different. Anyone know of a fix?

I never found a fix unfortunately.. It seems plesk 8s upports domain aliasing, but it just does a very bad job at it.
