• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Any way to backup server config only?

New Pleskian
I've been using psabackup but it's starting to get large and therefore time-consuming - so I'm looking for a better way.

I don't really need to back up the actual data on there - eg actual web site files, mailbox contents etc - I have local copies of everything. However, I'd like to backup the whole server config, eg domain setup, mailbox settings etc.

In theory this should be quite quick, is there any way of doing it? Eg if I were to backup the PSA MySQL DB, is there any way of forcing Plesk to rebuild everything on the server based on the DB contents if I needed to restore?

I've been reading the docs and can't find anything, so sorry if I'm missing something obvious...

TIA, M
