• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Almost every Apache "conf" has errors after the update!

Like this and many, many more:

  • p15198036:~ # /etc/init.d/apache2 start
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
Starting httpd2 (prefork) Syntax error on line 135 of /etc/apache2/server-tuning.conf:
Invalid command 'BrowserMatch', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Need quick HELP!!!!

Andreas

What I found out...

The Update destroyed the APACHE_MODULES Entry in httpd.conf! That's it. F**k...
Lucky me, I had a Backup.

Andreas

Maybe you can help me..

Do you use SuSE? If you do: Could you send that backup of your httpd.conf to me?

I am such a moron.. I started the upgrade to 8.1.1 and while it was running I checked the forum for interesting stuff and realised that i´d better do that before next time... Sh**t I have other problems to solve.

Hello.

I have the exact same problem and i dont know how to solve it. I have updated online my server, reebot the system and apache didnt start again.

# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/apache2: line 79: jk: command not found
Starting httpd2 (prefork) Syntax error on line 135 of /etc/apache2/server-tuning.conf:
Invalid command 'BrowserMatch', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

The command line was:
/usr/sbin/httpd2-prefork -f /etc/apache2/httpd.conf -DSSL
failed

I dont have any back up files. I dunno what to do. I would be glad if someone could help me with this.
