API wordpress install-plugin

Dave B.

New Pleskian
I see the API supports installing a plugin to a wordpress instance.
- Do I need to put the plugin on the server before calling this? If so, where?
- How do I find out the asset-id for a plugin?

<packet>
<wp-instance>
<install-plugin>
<filter>
<id>WordPress instance ID</id>
</filter>
<asset-id>plugin ID</asset-id>
</install-plugin>
</wp-instance>
</packet>

Thanks
Dave

I hope that output of this command will help you with it:

# plesk bin wp_instance --get-plugin-list 1

Title ID
Akismet akismet_3.1.9
Hello Dolly hello_1.6

You can see 1 as ID of Wordpress instance and akismet_3.1.9 or hello_1.6 as plugin ID
