• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Application Vault migration problem

We were migrating domains from Plesk 7.0.4 on a RedHat EL3 machine to Plesk Reloaded 7.5.3 on a Debian Sarge 3.1 machine using Migration Manager. We have noticed that users applications installed via Application Vault on old Plesk machine are not showing up in their Application Vault after the migration. Definitely, the applications itself were copied together with all other web-content to the new machine as well as the databases used by the applications.

How to correct this? Moreover, does anybody know if there is a way to automatically upgrade the applications installed via Application Vault to their newer versions during/after the migration (or at least are there any custom scripts for some applications like phpBB to do that?).

Plesk technical support was really useless answering that question, they just told that Appl. Vault applications should be migrated OK, at least if the old and new versions are compatible (strange answer as for me).

1. The migration does not work with the application vault.

2. The scripts can not be upgraded automatically, they can be upgraded only using the script vendor procedure.
