• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

ASP.NET error

Hi,

I have tried the following on the test server, which we have upgraded from Plesk Windows7.5.4 to 7.5.6 through patch. We are using the temporary 7.5 Plesk Windows key on the test server. If the tests go fine, we will think to upgrade the production system.

My question is:

When I try to click on the ASP.NET icon on the Control Panel, it gives me the following error:

ASPdotNet() constructor failed: Unable to getDomainConfiguration: aspnetcfg failed: Generic failure
---------------------- Debug Info -------------------------------
0: D:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\htdocs\domains\aspdotnet.php:72 psaerror(string "ASPdotNet() constructor failed: Unable to getDomainConfiguration: aspnetcfg failed: Generic failure")

Does anybody get same kind of error?

Thanks,

I guess the obvious question would be is ASP.NET installed and running? Plesk does not install .NET.
