I think that problem in "localhost" name of DB servers.

plesk installed and tried to wipe it again. Settings are the same. May be a bug.

How did you attach mysql db server (on 3350 port)? The only correct way is to add it via control panel>Tools & Settings>Database servers.

As I undestand you have installed mysql besides mysql wich is provided by Parallels.

I have no issue under such workflow:
install pp
install mysql (5.6 in my case) with user which has access to any host - for remote connection
add it to Database servers

after that launching of AI does not cause removing of mysql db server and all commot task were performed correctly/
