  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Is there any way to access a log for authentication requests and results?

I'm asking about authentication for Plesk. Like, login attempts to the actual site management utility itself.

Access log and corresponding login attempts to Plesk control panel you can find here - %plesk_dir%\admin\logs\W3SVC<IIS site ID>\ex<date>.log

Is an end user customer of the product able to view this file, using Plesk itself?

For security reasons only Windows administrator can see logs of Plesk.
