• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Auto create MySQL database and user for domain

Hi all,

I'm new to Plesk, but loving it allready! I bought a (dv) at Mediatemple, and it's great!

However, i have set up domain templates, and they are making it a breeze to create new customers. But unfortonately i havent quite figured out how to automate the process of creating a MySQL database and user for the new domain.

I'm thinking about creating a new event, and use the ./database CLI command to do this. Any thoughts about this?

Please tell if i'm missing or have overlooked something!

Best regards,

Plesk does not offer such feature. You can relate to the events and create the databases you want, but you must write such a script on your own and place it in cron.
